Celebrating National Nutrition Week with Patrika and Nourishing Schools Foundation- Day 2
The topic for the second day of the National Nutrition Week campaign held by Patrika Group and Nourishing Schools Foundation was ‘Types of Nutritional Deficiencies’. A nutritional deficiency is when your body does not get enough of one or more nutrients. This can be due to a lack of macronutrients, which are required by the body in larger quantities such as carbohydrates, fat and protein. More often, this is due to the lack of micronutrients i.e., vitamins and minerals that are needed by our body only in minuscule amounts.
