Celebrating National Nutrition Week (1st-7th September) With Nourishing Schools Foundation

The National Nutrition Week is observed from 1st September to 7th September annually in India. The Food and Nutrition Board, the Ministry of Women and Child Development, and the Government of India organize this nutrition event. This aims to increase awareness of the importance of good nutrition habits as they affect development, productivity, economic growth, and therefore, national development.

Nutrition is the science or practise of consuming and utilizing foods. A balanced diet is significant for good health and well-being. A healthy diet should include whole grains, fruits, vegetables, etc., that contain nutrients that promote growth and strengthen the immune system.
Nourishing Schools Foundation recognizes the necessity of nutrition and proper eating habits, especially for a growing child. As part of the celebration, our foundation focused on educating people about the importance of eating a balanced diet.
